Are the 6's results a good predictor for the 7's?

To see if there's a link between success in the 6's and 7's we've looked at the 2016 Super Nationals, 2016 WINA Indoor Netball World Cup and the 2015 Junior Nationals. Let's start with the 2016 Super Nationals.

2016 Super Nationals

Queensland won four of the 6's titles in Mackay earlier this year and NSW took home three trophies.

Queensland then went on to win another five titles in the 7's.

Division 6's 7's
U19 Mixed QLD QLD
U21 Ladies NSW NSW
U23 Mixed QLD QLD
Ladies NSW QLD
Mens QLD QLD
Mixed NSW NSW
O30 Ladies QLD QLD
O30 Mixed WA WA

It seems pretty conclusive so far! The only division not won by the same state was the Open Ladies.

2016 WINA World Cup

The World Cup told a different story as New Zealand won all of the 6's titles but only the 21 & Under team could repeat in the 7's

Division 6's 7's
U21 Ladies NZ NZ
Mixed NZ AUS
Womens NZ ENG
Mens NZ AUS

2015 Junior Nationals

There was no 6's competition at the 2015 Junior Nationals, but perhaps we can still use the Grand Final winners from last year to predict this year's winners.

Division State
U12 Ladies QLD
U14-1 Ladies NSW
U14-2 Ladies QLD
U16 Mixed QLD
U16 Ladies NSW

Predictions

It's hard to say whether winning the 6's necessarily means a win in the 7's and so with the above factored in we've made some educated predictions.

Division 6's Winner 2015 Winner 7's Prediction
U13 Ladies QLD Sparks QLD Sparks QLD Sparks
U15 Ladies NSW Waratahs NSW Waratahs NSW Waratahs
U17 Ladies QLD Heat NSW Waratahs NSW Waratahs
U17 Mixed SA Crowns QLD Flames VIC Steel

All will be decided on Saturday and if you can't make it Icon Arena, then you can watch along on the live streams
