VIC – Netball – Major League – Oakleigh outgunned

Oakleigh have been pipped at the post in a nailbiting instalment of the Women’s 1 Victorian Major League Netball competition, going down to the competition leading Werribee side by a single goal.

The Oakleigh outfit have long loomed as a likely challenger to Werribee’s mantle as the leader of the pack in the Major League competition, however not even the home ground advantage could get them over the top of the competition leaders.
