VIC - Super League Cricket - Northcote eliminate Hoppers in VicLeague heart stopper

Northcote have resurrected a horror start to their run chase to reel in Hoppers Crossing in an exhilarating elimination final match up at Springvale on Saturday.

Northcote batsman Sean Neary needed to score just 2 runs off the final ball to secure victory for his side and he did not shirk the task, doing exactly that and breaking eight Hoppers hearts in the process.

In the qualifying final, Croyden proved far too strong for Springvale and will relish the week off, with Springvale and Northcote set to go hammer and tongs for the remaining grand final berth this week end.
