QLD - Cricket - Giants looming large in Cains Indoor Cricket Premier League

The Giants have claimed their seventh straight win after being pushed to the brink against the Rangers in the Friday Cricket Premier League at Cairns Indoor Sports.

The Rangers batted first scoring 109, which seemed comfortably gettable for the all-vanquishing Giants outfit.

However, the Giants were less than explosive with the willow, and it was only through consistent graft that the were able to reel in the total.

The win was one to savour for the Giants, who now seem unstoppable heading into the new year fixture against the Pirates.
