VIC – Super League Cricket – Hoppers blown away by Hurricanes at home in Super League

With neither side boasting impressive form heading into last week’s instalment of the Friday Men’s 1 Super League,  both the Hurricanes and Hoppers sides were desperate for a win.

Unfortunately for the hosts, their best laid plans came unstuck when they eventually yielded in a tight 148-155 match despite a heroic 45 run effort from Trent Lawford.

In the evening’s other match, the Knights extended their competition lead after proving to be too good for Melton, winning 164-131.
