VIC - Super League Cricket - Frankston and Northcote fight for second in men’s cricket

Frankston and Northcote have met in key match-ups in both the Vic League and Men’s 1 Super League cricket on Saturday, with Frankston claiming the points in both fixtures.

In the Vic League division, Frankston levelled a heavy moral blow in the form of a 171-48 victory over the third-placed Northcote outfit. The win should place them in good stead heading into the next round when they meet Croydon on the road.

Meanwhile in the Men’s 1 competition the story was much the same, with Frankston triumphing 165-127 in a strong performance that sees them snapping at the heels of the competition leading Croydon side.
