WA - Super League Netball - Upsets and near misses in Ladies’ A Super League

It was a Sunday of palpitating play in the Ladies’ A WA Super League Netball, with Ballajura and the Sharks both eking out tight victories in the face of stiff opposition.

Guildford were heroic in defeat in their match up with the virtually indestructible Ballajura side, with the underdog outfit acquitting themselves admirably to push the Super League juggernaut to the very edge of their abilities in a 46-47 loss.

The Sharks, on the other hand, were able to do what Guildford could not, snatching a massive upset in their 48-47 defeat of Striker Leeming.
