NSW - Big Blast Indoor Cricket - Hills Tigers score a mixed bag in bumper week end of cricket
It was a funny old Saturday for the Hills Tigers in the Big Blast Indoor Premier League competition, as the fifth-placed side went 1:1 in back to back fixtures at Hills Sports.
First up the Tigers were expected to ease past a less-fancied St Mary’s Vipers side. However a stellar knock of 21 to Justin Terklisdon piloted the Vipers past the Tigers to a narrow 105-102 upset.
Next, the Tigers set to struggle against the third-placed Newcastle Steel outfit. But clearly the loss was not sitting well with the Tigers, who triumphed over the Steelers by the same margin 157-154 in an entertaining affair.
