QLD - Cricket - A pair of last-over wins light up the Wednesday cricket at Beenleigh

The Gumbys and Wooden Spoon have both nabbed superb last-over victories in the Wednesday cricket at Beenleigh Indoor Sports.

The Gumbys’ vanquished opponents, Youre Dukin, could do little but look on and despair as the Gumbys side’s batting linchpin Ben Scott routed their attack to all corners, in a balls to the wall, final skin innings of 44 that has all but cemented his side’s spot in the C-grade top four.

The Wooden Spoon outfit can thank the duo of Nathan Goddard and Brett Mullane for their efforts in assuring that the Spooner’s run chase was a successful one.
