WA - Cricket - Thursday night cricket wrap-up - Striker Indoor Sports and Fitness

There’s been some white-hot form shown in the six a side cricket at Striker Indoor last week, in both the Division A and Division B competitions.

In the Division A comp, Wade Mckay has narrowly pipped ‘Roosta' Franco for the mantle of performance of the round with a stunning contribution of 35. This in a match that saw his side the Ball Painters claim the honours in all three skins against the Raging Mongrels with an overall margin of 120-32.

Mckay vanquished the Mongrels attack in an impressive knock of 27. He then added 4 handy wickets in what was a consummate bowling performance from the Ball Painters.

‘Roosta’ Franco was also damaging as his side the Big Fellas downed the TOTs 129-105. His personal contribution of 33 included a knock of 34 and figures of 3/1 with the ball.

Both of these performances however were shadowed by the efforts of the Plumdogs’ Jarrad Robinson playing in the Division B competition. Robinson smoked 40 at a strike rate of 250.00 and took 4 scalps with the ball in his teams 119-19 caning of the expandables.
