VIC - Super League Netball - Melton marching on in Women’s 2 netball

Melton have just slapped down a deposit on the silverware in the Women’s 2 netball competition, seeing off their nearest rivals Frankston in a 15th round top of the table showdown.

The Melton girls really let their class shine through in the 48-31 win. It was their 9th from 13 games in the competition, and, considering its timing, the sweetest by far.

In the week end’s other match, the Falcons clinched a brilliant 47-46 upset over the 3rd-placed Cranbourne side, after the two sides traded goals in a tough encounter.
