The man they call Gerry has produced a brilliant knock of 24 to pilot his side, Bazzas, to a stellar one-run win of opponents Mad For It in Tuesday Men’s 2’s 6-a-side Cricket at Werribee.

Gerry anchored his side’s run chase with aplomb in the 69-68 victory, pouring cold water on Mad For It’s hopes of an upset victory.

The Win was Bazzas ninth for the competition so far, and consolidates their lead over Whatever CC in top spot on the ladder.
