QLD - Soccer - Water Rats go down to Black Aces at Mackay

The Water Rats have suffered their fourth successive defeat in what was a tough night in the Friday Mixed Social Soccer Comp at Mackay.

The Rats were covered in all facets of their performance by a rampant Black Aces side.

The Aces handed the Rats their second caning in two weeks in a complete 14-3 effort.

Whereas the result left the Water Rats on the bottom of the table (and yet to break their duck for competition points) the Aces surged to an impressive 19 competition points, behind only the Crazy Legs side who are sitting on 22.

Interestingly, the Rats are due to face the Crazy Legs next week. Hopefully they can get some form up for the rest of the competition, but they are expected to be in for a rough time against the competition-leading side.
