Around the country the various state leagues are getting towards the pointy end. These leagues are where our national players are honing their craft keeping their pencils sharp.
So let's take a look at what's happening around Australia.
Queensland
The INFQ Super Leagues are nearing the finish and for some clubs victory isn't far away. In Division 1 the league games have been completed now and the chance to get points in the club championship has come to a close. Check out the final table to see which club was the best. Next Saturday Brisbane West Indoor Sports are hosting the Semi Finals and you can look up the fixtures here
In Division 2 the league games continue but are nearly over and the Semi Finals loom large. Toombul have proven to be the giants here leading five of the divisions at present. You can see the ladders, fixtures and results here
In the Far North Queensland Netball the Wildcats are running the show leading five divisions. In the divisions that they don't reign supreme in, they're poised to strike in second position. Fixtures, Results, Ladders
Western Australia
Cricket and Netball are going strong in WA. In the cricket if it's not Striker it's Seamer, with Striker Leeming leading five competitions and Seamer leading three. It's pretty close at the top though so finishing on the top step does not mean you'll be taking the spoils. Fixtures, Results, Ladders
In the netball it's almost the same story. The might of Bouncer lead the Ladies A, but again Striker are in the hot seat in four divisions. Again the battle for supremacy will go right down to the last minute of the last quarter with all divisions being fairly tight. Fixtures, Results, Ladders

South Australia
South Australia are in their first season of BBI and the Morphettvale Sharks are bossing the competition. Early days here though as the South Australian season started in late May whilst the rest of the country was at it hammer and tongs. Fixtures, Results, Ladders
Meanwhile in the first season of INPL, it seems the Morphettvale Sharks are all singing all dancing, leading four divisions of the netball also. Fixtures, Results, Ladders
Victoria
Finally in Victoria, where it seems the youth development is bang on track the semis of the Men's Friday Night Cricket are on tonight across four Victorian centres. The Vicleague continues for another month, before Cranbourne and Northcote Indoor Sports co-host the semi finals. At the end of the month Melton Indoor Sports will host the Saturday Women's Cricket. Fixtures, Results, Ladders
In the Netball, it's a bit of a mixed bag, but Frankston should come away with at least 1 piece of silverware, holding a rather handsome lead over Hoppers and the rest of the division in the Women's 2. Fixtures, Results, Ladders
