The Aussie dreams of a 20 match clean sweep have ended rather abruptly last night when the New Zealand Men's defeated Australia in their first match up.

In a very low scoring affair New Zealand posted only 50 runs, but were able to restrict the Aussies to only 23 runs, in a sea of dot balls.

Meanwhile the other divisions are holding up nicely for Australia. At the conclusion of the first day's play the 22 & Under Men and Women's had both won 2 matches each and the Women's side won their match.
